Training Need Assessment

Training need assessment was conducted in seven VDCs viz Amchaur, Bisalpur, Mahakali, Pachewar, Sharmali, Shivnath and Udaydev of Baitadi district. The main objective of this assessment is to find out the existing market situation and viable off-farm sector where beneficiaries can be supported through training or linkage to critical services (eg: employment opportunities, financial services). The TNA identified skill gaps and suggested specific training for each target group (Dalit women, other women, and migrant worker, unemployed youth and occupational cast group.  the study analyzed the effectiveness of the previously conducted training and suggested a package for training based on the local context.
